No. ActLex is a technology platform. The advocates you speak with are independent professionals enrolled with a State Bar Council, and they alone are responsible for the advice they give you.
How do you verify advocates?
We check each advocate's enrolment number against the roll of their State Bar Council, verify their identity and address, and run a test consultation with a reviewer before they take any client. Advocates who have not completed every step do not appear on the platform.
What does a consultation cost?
Consultations start at ₹799 for 30 minutes. The exact fee depends on the advocate's fee band and is shown to you before you pay. There are no hidden charges and nothing is taken until you confirm a slot.
Who can see what I write?
Your query is visible to our operations team so they can match you, and to the advocate you book. Notes taken during your consultation are encrypted and readable only by you and your advocate — not by ActLex staff.
